ah well, I wanted to leave y'all (practicing) with a little something springy. I just took these today on our walk. Making the banners is pretty quick. Nice little distraction.

These are gorgeous! Wow, I can't believe how far spring has come along for you. I haven't even seen a single spring flower yet, or a tree bud...

It seems as if the trees all bloomed this week (the ones that have), and I'm glad I didn't miss my pretty hyacinths before I left, they smell so nice when I catch a whiff. It will look completely different in 2 weeks when I get back, thank goodness! (although my car will be covered in all that yellow crap every day soon...) Other than that it's mostly daffodils and hyacinths that are around.

Aw, how pretty! I love cherry blossoms. It's still so cold here -- not too many flowers yet. Mr. IG and I went for a drive yesterday and saw a lot of daffodils on the hills, but that was pretty much it. Aren't daffodils a February flower in these parts? Nuts.

I'm glad you got to see the flowers before you left. Tree flowers bloom so quickly...

I think my cactus is going to do its annual bloom tomorrow. Will have to try to remember to snap a pic - the flowers don't last very long.
