What were your New Year's resolutions for 2006?  How did you do?

To climb Mount Everest.  I did it twice.  In a week.  With my dog and my mom.

 

I love these guys.  They are from Monterrey Mexico.  This is from their excellent first album, I think from 2002?  

I'm bored today and have even fewer interesting things to say than normal. (can you tell?)  Maybe I oughta go clean up the kitchen or something then.

What's your favorite holiday movie?

I looooove the TBS 24 hour A Christmas Story marathon on TBS.  God bless them for that.  It's my own little tradition to watch it & wrap presents on Christmas eve. Kinda takes away some of the pain of the whole thing, haha!

I had just put up the Christmas tree and went out to the garage to get the decorations. When I came back in, this is what I found in the tree. Needless to say, the tree still hasn’t been decorated and will not be this year. Perhaps next year we can decorate it, but this year, our Christmas entertainment is watching the kittens trash their tree.
