Back before he was elected pres (the first time around), then-Governor Dubya finally agreed to go on Late Night With David Letterman.  Letterman aired this clip a few days later, shot during what was a commercial break, and we the home viewing audience could not see.  This alone signaled to me that he wasn't quite competent.

I carved punkins once and only once.  Well, I carved two, one Halloween season.  Ten years ago.  wanna see? sure you do!

 

That's the first one I ever did.  Like ever, we never did it as kids.  He's reeeeally scary.  He's more like a Retard-O-Lantern.  Looks kinda simple.

Okay then we strapped him in the back seat of the car & drove up to VT,  where we carved more.

 

Oh, there he is over on the right, I guess he didn't fit on the ledge. The second one I did is on the left end.  He looks better from the back really:

 

I carved stars on the back, pretty cool huh?

And I have no idea what became of any of them, but  I'm pretty sure they didn't live happily ever after.
