Pretty much the same but I gave it more definition by making the trees darker and of course the fence is in and more windows on the barn.  The original photo has a little bit of a glare off the paint.

Now for the lighthouse---please note that this is still not finished...I messed up the top of the lighthouse and still have to put in windows & doors on the house as well as stripes on the LH.  and some other details, sticks in the foreground & birds in the sky:

Well, that's a little dark, but you get the idea.  I did darken a lot of the colors & lighten others.  My classmates liked the rocks...which I thought I'd messed with a little too much & therefore messed up a little.

So...I'm thinking if I put them by the curb tonight with the trash someone would pick them up within a couple hours, I think they are about that good.  ;-)

Yes, I had a portrait commisioned by Rebecca Stringer Korpita, an artist I found on eBay.  I have the original but she is selling prints.  Someone bought one a couple years ago!  so, there is another, unknown, minion out there who has no doubt fallen prey to his allure! hehe

Finally!  Suck-sess! 

A little background:  I had raccoon issues in my old apartment, which some of you may remember reading about.  I could link you up to it but ==>it's on here somewhere<==.  Anyway...as a joke some friends got me some raccoon memorabilia after I finally moved out.  I just found it in my attic, so I decided to torture Elvy with one of them.  Of course, I have no sound but the little raccoon is yipping like a chihuahua and the chihuahua doesn't know what the hell to do.  Every time Elvis looks at the camera it's because I am saying "Get him!!!" and as soon as I pick up the raccoon and finish filming, Elvy gets bold and finally comes after it. 

Also--the first 3 are in my messy living room, the last 1 is in my easier-to-hide-the-mess dining room, both with red carpet that I never would have picked out.

So...without furthur ado....

 

 

Sorry they are all kinda the same, but who can get enough of this kind of fun?  Not me.  That last one, I don't even know if that's a full one or I accidentally turned it on again. (I DELETED IT, it was nothing) ENJOY!

Okay I just took 3 hilarious videos of Elvis (in my really messy living room, but inspiraton strikes at some very untidy moments) BUT I CAN'T TRANSFER THEM TO MY COMPUTER!

I had this problem the other day...I transferred a bunch of stuff but  a little video I'd made of E eating didn't make it.

I also have been having trouble immediately transferring pictures to the comp.  I synchronized everything, I checked the time & date...I don't know wtf is wrong.  I should be able to transfer it tomorrow, unless all of the sudden it doesn;t want to transfer videos at all.

PS--does anyone know what the little "lock" thing is for, on the side of the little memory card in my camera?  This is a newish card.

This is a bit greenish.  My walls are actually a pale blue, so obviously everything came out a bit dark.  Use your imagination! It's blues, greens & browns.  So---from this you can see that the starving artist crud I am doing in my class is not the type of art I want to hang.  But I have to say---this is what inspired me to get started...and it wasn't the visuals, it was the smell of the oil paints when I opened the package.  It seemed oddly familiar & friendly.
