I think I actually recognize this song. They don't suck quite as much as I expected, based on the cover art & photos.
I won this from Ross. He's such a pal. Well, you could say I won, or you could say I lost. ;-)
It's been so long since I've posted any of these, I THINK it's 90s for monday---
I don't even know why I am bothering...I kinda liked this song when I lived in TX and bought the CD but it never really connected with me. and now Yahoo stupid jukebox has all the songs mixed up, so hopefully it didn't rip them wrong too. This is supposed to be Man Scared but it might sound like "Deborah" we'll see. Anyway, I think they're Irish.
Couldn;t find the right album art so I used a different one.
How ya like me now? pretty good. goin on, feelin strong.
Okay....not that I don't love my selection, because I love Chris Whitley till the end of time but that's just how I feel about today. whoopeeeeeee.
From his second album. I have others from this, I didn't know which to choose. Feel free to check out the other tewns in my liberry.
I will have a lot of work to do once I get to the office so I'm gonna post these now.
Dunno if anyone remembers these guys, they had a little success in 1986 with "It's a Good Thing" from the Manic Pop Thrill album. These are from 1990's Chemicrazy:
and one more because this is such a freakin great album
I always have problems with 90s Monday.
Here's my submishes, one in video form and one in audio, both from the same album, "together alone" by Crowded House.
I don't really feel like trying to find anything appropriate for the Memorial Day holiday (and I doubt I would find anything anyway) so here is just random 90s 'good'ness.
I can never have just one!
I couldn't find an "official" video for this song, unfortunately. I love this song & album. I don't know if I ever replaced it after the Jackass borrowed & destroyed it. bastard grrrrrrr
ps Dave Letterman loves Johnette. He always makes/made comments about how they got married & stuff, cute, haha
Here, I'm adding this because it's got the Mexican theme going on:
